It expands from a waxing gibbous to officially become full at exactly 1:11pm AEDT. This Full Moon is special for a few reasons. It&#8217;s known as the Pink Full Moon, a colloquial name drawn from European, Native American and Colonial sources. Sadly, it won&#8217;t be literally pink, rather its name refers to its seasonal timing, heralding the blooming of springtime flowers in the Northern Hemisphere.<\/p>\n<p>The other special feature of this Moon? This will be the Paschal Full Moon \u2013 which is the first Full Moon following the March Equinox.
